2. Official Yatra Registration & Permits

The Government of Uttarakhand mandates biometric / digital registration for all pilgrims undertaking the sacred Char Dham Yatra (Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath) and Hemkund Sahib.

• Official registrations are issued free of cost exclusively through the authorized Government of Uttarakhand portal (registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in) or via the official Tourist Care Uttarakhand mobile application.
• Kanishka Travel does not sell or charge for official registration slips. We offer complimentary procedural assistance and guidance to our booked guests to ensure their government documentation is valid before entering check-posts.

3. Helicopter Tickets & VIP Darshan Passes

In strict compliance with aviation safety regulations and government guidelines:

• Kedarnath helicopter shuttle tickets are operated exclusively by DGCA-approved helicopter service providers and are booked directly through the official IRCTC portal (heliyatra.irctc.co.in).
• Kanishka Travel does NOT own, operate, or sell helicopter shuttle seats independently, nor do we claim guaranteed helicopter allocations or backdoor VIP passes.
• All temple darshans follow standard temple queue protocols set by the respective temple management trusts. Any priority or special puja receipts must be obtained directly from temple administration counters by the devotee.

4. Mountain Terrain, Weather & Force Majeure

Himalayan journeys traverse high-altitude mountainous terrain subject to unpredictable weather conditions, sudden cloudbursts, heavy rainfall, snow accumulation, roadblocks, and administrative traffic control gate systems.

• Safety First: In the event of roadblocks, landslides, or severe weather alerts issued by local authorities, our team reserves the right to re-sequence or modify itineraries in real time to safeguard travelers.
• Unforeseen Expenses: Costs resulting from unplanned hotel overstays, detour fuel, or route interruptions caused by Force Majeure events or state administrative orders are the responsibility of the traveler.
• Health & Altitude Fitness: Travelers are strongly advised to consult a medical practitioner before undertaking high-altitude pilgrimages (Kedarnath at ~11,755 ft, Badrinath at ~10,279 ft, Tungnath at ~12,073 ft). Travelers must ensure they carry personal emergency medication.
