Durmi Tal Trek Itinerary (3 Days / 2 Nights) Starting Point: Ukhimath / Ransi Village Ending Point: Ransi Village Best Time to Visit: May to June & September to October.
Day 1: Arrival at Ransi – Trek to Durmi Tal Base Camp Reach Ransi Village (via Ukhimath) by morning. Meet trek leader and team; begin trek. Trek through forests, meadows, and gradual ascents. Set up camp near the Durmi Tal base area. Evening bonfire and rest under stars. Overnight Stay: Tents at Base Camp Meals: Lunch, Dinner.
Day 2: Trek to Durmi Tal – Exploration – Return to Base Camp Early morning start to Durmi Tal. Reach the serene alpine lake surrounded by meadows and peaks. Time for exploration, meditation, and photography. Packed lunch at the lake. Descend back to base camp by late afternoon. Overnight Stay: Tents at Base Camp Meals: Breakfast, Packed Lunch, Dinner.
Day 3: Return Trek to Ransi – Departure Morning descent back to Ransi village. Freshen up and prepare for onward journey. Drop available till Ukhimath if pre-arranged. Meals: Breakfast.
Inclusions: Accommodation in tents (2 nights) All meals during trek (Veg only) Guide and trek support staff Camping gear (tents, sleeping bags, mats) Forest permits and entry fees First aid kit.
